When we started 2021 we had renewed hope that the worst of the pandemic was behind us. Sadly this was not the case, very few of us could have imagined that Auckland hospitality businesses would close their doors for more than 100 days.
This year has been tougher than we could have imaged and especially tough for our friends in the liquor and hospitality industries.
But we are once again so proud to see the resilience of those who have powered through, and showed that fighting Kiwi spirit to just get on with things.
We hope that 2022 will be much brighter and that we won’t have to use the word ‘lockdown’ ever again.

Our Christmas wish is that 2022 will bring renewed prosperity for New Zealand and for the hospitality industry.
