Hennessy Global Cocktail Challenge open to Kiwi bartenders for the first time

The Hennessy MyWay 2024 Challenge has launched in New Zealand.

The global cocktail competition is searching for the finest, most sustainable cocktail with the most memorable service ritual.

Inspired by the Cognac House’s centuries-long pursuit of excellence and its pioneering spirit in environmental field, Kiwi bartenders are invited to enter the competition for the first time.

To launch the cocktail challenge, Jordan Bushell – the global Hennessy brand ambassador – will host a series of exclusive events and masterclasses throughout Australia and New Zealand, joined by Alex Zanarini, the ANZ ambassador.

Together, they will equip you with all the tools to become the next Hennessy MyWay champion by delving into the world’s leading luxury spirit brand and exploring key elements of the competition, such as highlighting local ingredients, methods, sustainability, and showcasing unique service rituals.

Each event will also include a Hennessy cocktail on arrival and an exclusive tasting of Hennessy Very Special, V.S.O.P Privilege and X.O led by Jordan.

Bartenders are invited to come along to an event and participate in Hennessy MyWay.

On offer are cash prizes of €1000 for the top 50 finalists with the top 10 invited to Paris and Cognac to compete in the live final in October, alongside some of Hennessy’s rarest cognac blends.
