Over 37,000 trade visitors and 1,083 exhibitors came to one of the most important equipment shows for the beverage industry – BrauBeviale in Nuremberg, Germany.
Among the exhibitors were world market-leaders and small and medium-sized companies, including some from New Zealand. They presented all aspects covering the beverage industry and supply chain: high-quality raw materials, innovative technologies, efficient logistics and creative marketing ideas.
Director Exhibitions Andrea Kalrait said: “The enthusiasm in the exhibition halls is there for all to see and experience. The trend towards craft-brewed beverages is continuing unbroken and is attracting increasing attention, we are of course also feeling that here. Over the past few days trade visitors came to us from a total of 132 countries!”
There was also an alcohol-free side to the event: the water-tasting sessions conducted by trained water sommeliers also attracted a large number of keen visitors.
“New Zealand stands at this year’s BrauBeviale trade show in Nuremberg, Germany, were so busy it was almost impossible to get a word with them,” says Monique Surges, CEO of the New Zealand German Business Association.
She said: “Both Imake Ltd and New Zealand Hops Ltd are repeat exhibitors at the most important equipment show worldwide for the beverage industry. They are noticing the advantages of ‘been there done that’, having refined their stand set up and they also brought along more staff to deal with the onslaught of quality trade visitor enquiries.”
Grainfather, a brand owned by Imake Ltd was on display and International Sales Manager Barry Cowen said “this show really touches the world, we have been fielding enquiries not only from Europe but also as far afield as South America.”
