ANZ Producer Marketplace set to connect beverage producers with local hospitality businesses

More than 250 Wellington’s food and drink professionals are expected to come together next month for the ANZ Producer Marketplace.

Created more than 10 years ago as a forerunner to Visa Wellington On a Plate, the ANZ Producer Marketplace aims to connect the capital’s local food and drink producers with local hospitality businesses.

“Producer Marketplace is a fantastic opportunity for busy local hospo workers to sample delicious local products all in one place and meet the people and personalities behind them,” says Visa Wellington On a Plate Manager, Beth Brash.

Up to 50 Wellington food and drink producers are expected to attend, including Garage Project which will be offering tastings of their 2024 Burger Wellington beer match.

ANZ Managing Director, Business, Lorraine Mapu says the ANZ Producer Marketplace provides busy food and beverage businesses with a platform to connect and learn.

“ANZ is committed to New Zealand’s food and beverage sector and this event is just one way we can help businesses to realise their potential through innovation and collaboration.”

The ANZ Producer Marketplace also includes a half-day of free training and development sessions, with attendees given the opportunity to learn from experts on subjects ranging from using AI to grow your business, to cash flow planning.

The ANZ Producer Marketplace takes place on Monday 4 March at Shed 6, Queen’s Wharf, Wellington. Training sessions will run from 10am to 1pm, with the ANZ Producer Marketplace running from 2pm onwards. The event costs $150+GST for producers to exhibit. The day is free for the hospitality industry to attend.
