SOHO awarded top Pinot Noir at IWC

SOHO’s Black Collection Havana Pinot Noir 2015 has been awarded trophies for the Best Marlborough Pinot Noir and Best New Zealand Pinot Noir at International Wine Challenge (IWC).

“We are absolutely thrilled, especially as these grapes are from my father’s vineyard in Marlborough,” says SOHO Wines Managing Director, Rachael Carter. “Even though we challenge the traditional norms, we have the greatest respect for the winemaking process and ultimately put our heart and soul into bringing you the best wine we possibly can. This award is true recognition of that.”

The SOHO Black Collection has led the way in achieving many glass pour listings in some of New Zealand’s best restaurants and bars, as well as fine wine retail stores. SOHO creates distinctive, premium wines from specialists in their realm, combining the 3 best regional terroirs with three outstanding winemakers – Marlborough’s Dave Clouston, Waiheke Island’s James Rowan, and Central Otago’s Grant Taylor. These winemakers individually give each wine its own distinctive premium style and personality.

With 56 Gold medals in seven years and wines exported to 22 countries, SOHO is indeed taking the world by storm.

SOHO Havana Pinot Noir 2015 has an RRP of $38.00 and is available from Fine Wine Delivery Company, Glengarry and selected New World, Liquorland and independent wine retailers, as well as restaurants and bars throughout New Zealand.
