Sip NZ launches vintage photo contest

New Zealand wine and lifestyle company, Sip NZ, has launched its first Vintage Photo Contest, encouraging harvest crews to capture and share their hard work, passion and beauty of this unique time during the wine cycle.

Sip NZ wants to capture this essence and has partnered with Glengarry to offer a set each of beautiful Eisch Vinezza White Wine and Pinot Noir Glasses, valued at $100, for the best #sipnzv18 photo shared on Instagram or Facebook between until the end of April, 2018.

Due to the dry and hot summer, the 2018 grape harvest kicks-off earlier than usual with producers in the North starting vintage later this month while grapes in southern wine regions such as Canterbury and Central Otago will be harvested from mid-March onwards depending on weather conditions.

“The photo contest is a great way for wine lovers to get unique insights into the winemaking process right from the start and an appreciation of the hard work, commitment and passion that goes into every bottle”, says Caro, co-founder of Sip NZ.

“It all starts in the vineyard and harvest often determines the success of a given vintage. The photo competition allows you to follow along and be part of this special time in the vineyard and the amazing regions that New Zealand has to offer”, says Emily, co-founder of Sip NZ.

To enter the Sip NZ Vintage ’18 Photo Contest, vintage shots simply need to be tagged with #sipnzv18 when shared on Facebook or Instagram. Terms and Conditions apply, visit sipnzwine.com/win for more details.
