Dancing Sands Distillery has secured an export deal with well-established UK wine and spirits importer Enotria&Coe.
Launched in 2016, Dancing Sands has grown its sales 478% in five years with its gins are available in more than 500 liquor stores, bars, and restaurants across New Zealand.
As well as entering the mature and competitive UK gin market, Dancing Sands has also recently launched into the US Market with plans to expand, and will be continuing their expansion in the Canadian market.
Dancing Sands’ Founder and Managing Director, Sarah Bonoma, says as a result of this initial deal, the company expects export growth to double in the short term and become 50% of Dancing Sands’ total sales within the next three years.
“As a New Zealand-based gin producer, launching in the home of gin is an incredible milestone for us,” she says.
“When we arrived in Golden Bay, my husband Ben and I knew we had to create something tangible and unique that encapsulated the most stunning place on the planet, and make it available for the world to enjoy.
“Our UK launch sees this vision become a reality for us. A lot of hard work has gone into launching Dancing Sands in the UK.
“To be partnering with Enotria&Coe and sharing our Gins on the other side of the world is a dream come true.”
