Wine can have texture in the bouquet as well as on the palate – many French vignerons highlight this when talking about their wines. This is one such example with a silky texture to the bouquet, a wine with shape and form followed by scents of pear and peach, mineral and yellow apple, the mineral quality comes from suggestions of white clay and wet chalk. The silken theme from the bouquet carries through to the palate with a softer creamier textured mouthfeel then flavours that mirror the bouquet. Medium acid line and moderate alcohol deliver contrast and balance. Best drinking from 2024 through 2027.
