A classic Otago bouquet of savoury dried herbs laced with red berry fruits. Cherry and plum, followed by a clay-like, stony earth quality. More is revealed on the palate, with layers of wood spice and dried herb, remaining savoury and fruity, with flavours that reflect the bouquet. A medium tannin effect with a decent acid line frames a palate with texture and length. Well made, with best drinking from the day of purchase through to 2030.
