This Pinot Noir Chardonnay blend has been resting on lees for three years before dégorgement. The bouquet is excellent, somewhat exquisite and definitely complex. Aromas of autolysis, baked goods, brioche, and ripe stone fruits, then citrus and apple. A delicious mousse touches the palate first, with a gentle explosion, fine bubbles, and a backbone of acidity. As the wine unfurls across the palate, flavours of citrus and white peach, grapefruit pith, and floral notes begin to show. The lees qualities and baked goods aromas continue through the acid line, weight, and mousse features. Complex and dry, lengthy and delicious. A lovely wine ready to drink from the day of purchase through 2033+. Tasted even better on day two. A steal at the price shown below.
