Fantastic bouquet of variety, ripeness, site and region. A bouquet of fresh red and dark cherries, dried raspberry and fresh plums. This is layered between scents of new French barrel and a touch of wood smoke, then a fine layer of dried herb and baking spices. Delicious as the wine touches the palate, a fine satin texture is cushioned against tannins and acidity delivering plushness and texture. Complex, youthful, taut and dry. A wine to drink now or cellar – both work. Best drinking from 2027 through 2037.
