Very attractive bouquet with scents of baking spices, followed by red berry fruits, some smoky oak, and hints of newish wood – though not so much that it overwhelms the delicate violet note that comes through. Dry and textured as the wine touches the palate, revealing flavours of plums and cherries, mushroom, and other earthy characteristics that blend with the wood and lees influences. A wine that will continue to develop over the next 1–3 years. Best enjoyed from 2025 through 2029.
